History of PDQ
|
Spring of 2001 – Company founded by Al Eckert – Working as a home
based business performing witness loan closings. Over the next several months,
independent closers were recruited by Al to help with the overflow during peak
times.
June, 2003 – PDQ Signing Services became PDQ Signing Services, Inc. Mark
Willard joined the firm as the newly formed corporation begins to hire employees
to perform witness loan closings instead of using independent notaries.
Corporate officers are Mark Willard – President
Debbie Eckert – Vice-President
Al Eckert – Sec./Treasurer
Goals for this new corporation included the offering of statewide services
within the next 12 months.
September, 2003 - Expansion across the state of Missouri began by adding
employees in the Kansas City region. Each month saw new employees being added to
the PDQ team.
June, 2004 - Our business plan for Missouri is fulfilled with 21
locations to allow us to close loans throughout the entire state.
September, 2004 - We opened the state of Tennessee with 18 locations at
one time. We can close loans throughout all of Tennessee using employees, not
independent contractors.
The Future… As we monitor industry trends and conduct population and
competition studies on neighboring states, we expect to be expanding our
services one state at a time.
States included in our future growth plans include Kentucky, Ohio, and Arkansas.
As the concept of “in home” loan closings continues to grow, so will we. Once a
decision is made to enter a new state, we will be on a fast-track to be
“statewide” in that particular state within a very short period of time.
